Program Outline

This schedule provides a structured and engaging program for each day of the Entrepreneurship Jobs for All Annual Summit

Day 1: Arrival - Sunday, September 24, 2023

Afternoon:

  • Participants arrive at the event venue.
  • Registration and check-in at the registration desk.
  • Welcome kits distribution.

Evening:

  • Participants settle into their accommodations.
  • Free time for networking and exploring the venue.
  • Optional ice-breaking activities or welcome reception.

Day 2: Opening Ceremony and Training of Trainers - Monday, September 25, 2023

Morning:

  • Opening ceremony:
    • Welcome address by the event organizer.
    • Introduction of keynote speakers and special guests.
    • Keynote speeches highlighting the event's objectives.

Afternoon:

  • Training of Trainers (1st Session):
    • Topic: Developing Entrepreneurial Universities, Hubs and Centres, Government Ministries, and agencies
    • Workshop for trainers focused on effective entrepreneurship and innovation training techniques sharing experience on Dunin-Deshpande Queen’s Innovation Centre at Queen’s University playbook.

Evening:

  • Training of Trainers (2nd Session):
    • Continued workshop or seminar for trainers.

Day 3: Break-Out Sessions and Time with Diplomats - Tuesday, September 26, 2023

Morning:

  • 1st Break-Out Session for Entrepreneurs:
    • Various workshops, panels, or sessions related to entrepreneurship.

Afternoon:

  • 2nd Break-Out Session for Entrepreneurs:
    • More workshops, panels, or sessions focusing on different aspects of entrepreneurship.

Evening:

  • Time with Diplomats, Ministers, and Business Leaders:
    • Roundtable discussions, networking opportunities, and Q&A sessions with prominent figures from the business and diplomatic community.

Day 4: Pitch Competition, Mentoring Cafe, Awards, and Networking Cocktail - Wednesday, September 27, 2023

Morning:

  • Pitch Competition:
    • Entrepreneurs present their business ideas to a panel of judges.
    • Q&A and feedback session after each pitch.

Afternoon:

  • Mentoring Cafe:
    • Participants have the opportunity to receive one-on-one mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Evening:

  • Awards Ceremony:
    • Recognition and awards for outstanding entrepreneurs and pitches.
  • Networking Cocktail:
    • A social event for participants, mentors, and special guests to network and celebrate the day's achievements.

Day 5: Closing Ceremony and Graduation - Thursday, September 28, 2023

Morning:

  • Closing Ceremony:
    • Recap of the event highlights and achievements.
    • Farewell speeches and thank-yous.

Late Morning:

  • Graduation:
    • Participants receive certificates of completion.

Afternoon:

  • Optional post-event activities or sightseeing tours for participants.

Evening:

  • Meetup with Queen’s and Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation alumni
