Hon Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Minister for Employment and Labour Relations is the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations and Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Constituency, having been elected in 2008, 2012 and 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Accounting), PG Diploma (Management Consultancy), FCIPM (Management Consultancy) and FPMA (Management Consultancy).
He has served as District Chief Executive of Sunyani District Assembly under former President J. A. Kufuor’s government. He later became the Deputy Regional Minister for the then Brong-Ahafo Region and subsequently became the Regional Minister under the same Kufuor administration.
