Prof. Kingsley Opoku Appiah

Professor Kingsley Opoku Appiah is a result-oriented person who is passionate about quality education. He is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Corporate Governance and the Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, School of Business School (KSB), Kumasi.  He holds a PhD from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant and a Member of both Institute of Directors-Ghana and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Prof Appiah's teaching, research and consulting interests include Accounting and Financial Management, Taxation, Statistics, Corporate Governance and Corporate Success or Failure.
He has consulted and facilitated training for several organisations. Notable among them is the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), the Building Stronger Universities Project (BSU), the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), the Ghana Cocoa Board, the Institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Gh) and Africa Corporate Governance Network (ACGN).
